The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has served as the Industry Guardian for the cleaning, inspection and restoration service industries for more than 30 years. As a non-profit certification organization, the IICRC helps ensure that you have access to trusted and trained cleaning professionals by establishing and monitoring certification programs and standards for these industries.

To qualify for IICRC-Certified Firm status businesses must demonstrate proof of insurance, maintain a written customer complaint policy with documented follow-up and provide ongoing education and training leading to certification for all technicians. IICRC Certified Firms are also required to abide by the IICRC Code of Ethics. Services provided by IICRC–Certified professionals range from flooring inspection and cleaning to mold remediation to water and fire damage restoration.

Varney Clean Care is an IICRC certified firm and has technicians certified through the IICRC in the following areas:

·         Carpet Cleaning

·         Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning

·         Leather Identification & Cleaning

·         Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration

·         Water & Sewer Damage Restoration

·         Odor Control

·         Color Repair (Carpet)

·         Stone, Masonry & Ceramic Tile Cleaning

·         Applied Structural Drying - Applied Structural Drying is a certification issued by the IICRC. This certification takes students through applying the proper drying techniques to flooded and damaged homes. This is a hands-on course certification that is intensive and ensures students are thoroughly trained in how to dry structures for water damage cleanup.

The Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) was established in 1995 to promote uniform standards, procedures and protocols in the Indoor Air Quality industry.Indoor air quality problems can have a major impact on occupant health and comfort. When indoor air quality issues arise, it is important to make sure that only highly-qualified individuals are called upon to investigate, mitigate and confirm that a problem has been properly resolved.  When hiring a professional consultant or contractor it is important to hire a company with qualified and certified staff that will be following industry standards and guidelines to ensure a job done right.
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) was formed in 1989 as a non-profit association of companies engaged in the cleaning of HVAC systems. Its mission was to promote source removal as the only acceptable method of cleaning and to establish industry standards for the association.
